Thank You Cherry Much Smoothie

Super thrilled to share this recipe — it might very well be the most popular recipe we’ve shared with the Fairmont Smoothie Club to date! Very excited about my most recent purchase — a Nutribullet RX — I shared a recipe from the book that came with the machine. I did make one change though — I substituted walnuts for pecans, because there was a walnut recall and I was unable to purchase any! To be honest, I’ve tried it both ways and I think I like the pecans better. I’ve also done this recipe at home adding in about a tablespoon of raw cacao. Super tasty!!

Give this a try at home! A lot of people were initially thrown off by the ginger, but once they tried it, they agreed that it needed to be in there to make the other flavors pop. One smoothie club attendee even said she thought it tasted like cake batter! Ringing endorsement!

  • 1 cup baby spinach

  • ½ banana

  • ½ cup frozen cherries

  • ¼ cup pecans

  • 1 tbs grated fresh ginger

  • 1 cup unsweetened vanilla almond milk
